Government of Trine Gloria

The government of Trine Gloria is one of reinforcement and faith.  The King and Queen Rules over everything guiding the city into the age of light and art.  It is through the strength of the King and Queen, in faith, body, and mind, that the city prospers and their reign is passed down to their children who are raised in all aspects of life within the city, often guided by the Trinity Generals.

The Trinity Generals are the leaders of the three orders of Knights known as the Trinity Knights each guiding their own aspect of their faith and the might of the Kingdom.  The Trinity Knights are the backbone of the Kingdom’s power and grace.  It is through them that order is maintained in the city and throughout the kingdom.

 

Trinity Generals and the Trinity Knights

The Trinity Generals are Generals appointed for life by the current king.  The only way for a knight to lose his position as a Trinity General is for them to die, or to retire, the former becoming the far more likely.  They are each appointed by the King to guide in matters of state and in war.  They are advisors directly to the king.

The most important position of being a Trinity General is that you are charged with Ensuring that no king becomes corrupt and abuses their power.  The Generals, upon a unanimous vote, may remove the King and Queen from power and replace them with someone more befitting of the throne.  This was instituted to help prevent the corrupt child issue that plagues many kingdoms.  Often the one chosen to be king is one of the Generals themselves, spawning the only other way a General my be removed from being a general.

Each general has specific things they rule over, and their own order of knights, lead in part by their two Lieutenants which help guide the people and assist the Generals.  The Generals and Their Lieutenants are outlined below.  All Lieutenants are appointed by their General.

 

General of Mind:  This general guides over all aspects of the public mind, and represents their thoughts and guides them to help them in matters of tolerance and understanding.  He is also the keeper of Wisdom and Knowledge within the Kingdom, helping to ensure that everyone is granted access to all knowledge and that it is shared for the betterment of the Kingdom.  All knights under his hand Are Lumped together in the Title of Knights of Mind.

Lieutenant of Wisdom:  As his Title implies he governs over the wisdom in the kingdom guiding people to do well by each other and he guides them with wisdom and helps them grow in their own wisdom and understanding of each other.  His Knights, the Knights of Wisdom, help in this endeavor.

Lieutenant of Knowledge:  With a much simpler job than his Brother in arms, the Lieutenant of Knowledge is the man that governs the knowledge within the kingdom, helping to teach people everything they need to know.  Literature, art, science, history, and all other knowledge gained by the Kingdom since its founding.  His knights, the Knights of Knowledge, help in this Endeavor.

General of Body:  This general guides over most war tactics and the defense of the city.   It is through him the strength and grace of the kingdom is guided.  When it comes to matters of combat and defense even the other Knights, and even sometimes the other generals, fall under his command.  Considered a master tactician and the Defender of the Realm.  This General also guides over the teaching the citizens defense and helping them to earn their way into the knight hood reguardless of their background.  All knights under his command are lumped under the title Knights of Body.

Lieutenant of Strength:  Considered one of the strongest people in the kingdom this knight rules over the true military power of the kingdom.  His role is to be the keeper of arms, govern the weapons and armor manufacturing within the kingdom and to find ways to constantly improve the walls and the war ships to make them both more durable and powerful.  He leads the people to make them stronger of body and helps to keep them healthy.  His Knights of Strength, help in these endeavors.

Lieutenant of Speed:  With increadible quickness and Agility the lieutenant of Speed is the agility and tactical mind of the Knights of Body.  He governs over tactics and the Archers within the Army.  His goal is to make the boats more slim and quick so that they could get their troops quickly onto enemy shores with less loss of life due to fire.  His role is the precision and ability of the troops, often he is the trainer of the troops, and the one that guides beginners in the arts for all branches.  His Knights of Speed, help him in this endeavor.

General of Spirit:  Considered by the people one of the most important Generals the General of Spirit is the one that guides over Magic and Religion, taking over those roles instead of the Knight General of Mind, due to their expansive size in and scope.  His role is the guiding or the religious beliefs of the people and to help people understand the nature of all the religions of the Kingdom, and to help guide people in the use and understanding of magic and its laws.  He advises the King and Queen in these matters and helps guide the populace in their understanding.  All Knights under his command are lumped under the title Knights of Spirit.

Lieutenant of Faith:  Guiding over the Temple and religion in the kingdom and keeping the knowledge that pertains to all religions within the country.  His faith is unfaltering in his belief in Atemia and the Dragons and he is known to praise them often.  He makes no decisions that he doesn’t feel were inspired by his faith and his Goddess.  To the people he is a guiding light in their lives.  No matter their Religion he helps guide them with their own religion and enforces completely their beliefs to ensure that no one is persecuted for their beliefs.  His Knights of Faith assist in all of these endeavors.

Lieutenant of Magic:  As his name implies he guides people in the ways of magic and how to use it to better the lives of all the people in the kingdom.  He is the guardian of the magical knowledge within the kingdom and helps people better attune to the very energy that fills the planet and teaches them magic.  He helps everyone understand the power that fills them and makes their lives easier.  He is also the leader of the Mages within the army and is charged with maintaining and improving the magical seals that strengthen the walls and make them more resistant to magic attacks.  His Knights of Magic help in this endeavor.

 

 

While all the knights have things they govern over they are ALL warriors, there are no exceptions.  They fight well and it is there strength and power and knowledge that has granted the kingdom its peace all these long years.  The Trinity Knights are the guardians of the kingdom and its knowledge and are ultimately respected by everyone within the Kingdom and are devoutly honored.
